In Pforzheim, Germany, develops products and processes for surface treatments. Our products are used in applications for the electrical industry (printed circuit boards, ceramic substrates, contacts in power electronics), equipment manufacturing, automotive industry, renewable and alternative energy, industrial drives and medical technology. Plating of metal strips

Strips can be solid, pre-stamped or belt-linked. Strips and stamped parts made of copper and copper alloys, nickel and nickel alloys, stainless steel or beryllium/bronze and can be coated additionally hardened or annealed.

 

Electroplating is used for fine and hardgold, silver, palladium/nickel, copper and nickel as well as pure tin and tin/lead alloys. The dimensions of the base material strip depend on the process used; thicknesses range from 70μm to 2mm and the maximum width is approx. 120mm.

Barrel Plating

Bulk items can be plated with many diffent combinations of layers of varying thicknesses. In each case, the most suitable electroplating unit and production line are chosen to match the geometry of the parts and the batch size.
